Computer Vision Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Vision Engineer to join us on a contract basis. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of our computer vision models — from data pipeline through cloud and edge deployment — and play a critical role in advancing our core technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management: Oversee data collection, aggregation, cleaning, and labeling to build high-quality training datasets.
  • Model Development & Training: Design, build, train, and validate state-of-the-art models for object detection, image classification, and segmentation.
  • Model Optimization: Fine-tune models for real-time performance on edge devices, balancing accuracy with computational efficiency.
  • Deployment: Deploy models on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and edge devices (NVIDIA Jetson, Coral AI).
  • MLOps & Maintenance: Monitor production models, implement MLOps best practices, and continuously retrain to adapt to new data.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for datasets, model architectures, training processes, and deployment procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Computer Vision or Machine Learning Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of CNNs, Transformers, and Generative Models.
  • Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras).
  • Demonstrated cloud model deployment experience (AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, or Azure ML).
  • Experience with edge optimization frameworks: TensorFlow Lite, ONNX, or TensorRT.
  • Solid software engineering skills: Git, Docker, and MLOps principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data annotation and labeling tools.
  • Familiarity with OpenCV.
  • Experience with CUDA / GPU programming.
  • Portfolio of relevant projects or published research in computer vision.

We are seeking a highly qualified Drilling Engineering Consultant for a contract engagement focused on accelerating the adoption of digital technology within the drilling sector. The core focus will be leveraging computer vision for operational safety and deploying smart controllers for advanced pressure management systems.

Scope of Work & Key Deliverables

  • Expert Consultation: Provide advisory services to clients on optimizing drilling operations through digital transformation.
  • Opportunity Identification: Engage with client stakeholders to analyze operations, identify challenges, and pinpoint high-impact opportunities for technology integration.
  • Solution Strategy: Develop and present strategic recommendations for adopting computer vision (AI-driven visual monitoring) and smart control systems (intelligent pressure management).
  • Client Engagement: Lead technical workshops, presentations, and strategic discussions to drive client commitment to new digital initiatives.
  • Business Development Support: Collaborate with internal teams, providing drilling engineering expertise to secure new service contracts and partnerships.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in drilling engineering.
  • Strong, demonstrable understanding of industrial IoT, data analytics, and control systems.
  • Proven client-facing consulting experience with exceptional communication and influencing skills.
  • Deep expertise across the end-to-end drilling process, from well design and planning through execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

Engagement Terms

  • Contract-based with defined scope and deliverables; duration negotiated based on project needs.
  • Requires the ability to work autonomously and deliver expert results.
